A tactic for Whitetail hunting during rut is make a mock scrape in the area you want to hunt. After you have cleared out all leaves and other debris, place a couple of 35mm film canisters filled with cotton balls and saturated with doe in heat urine . The film canisters will keep the urine from soaking in the ground and can be refreshed easily.
